This privacy policy defines and informs potential and actual customers, hereinafter referred to as the "customer(s)", of the manner in which Helpelek, the trade name for the company listed below, uses and protects the information transmitted to it and, more particularly but without being exclusive, when the visitor, customer or any interlocutor, hereinafter referred to as the "customer(s),
- uses the Helpelek website accessible via the following link: https://www.helpelek.be, hereinafter the "site";
- uses the services offered by Helpelek;
- contacts Helpelek for any reason whatsoever.
This privacy policy may be modified or completed at any time by Helpelek, in particular in order to comply with any legislative, regulatory, jurisprudential or technological evolution. In such a case, the date of the update will be clearly identified at the top of the present policy. These modifications are binding on the client as soon as they are put online. The customer is therefore invited to regularly consult the present privacy policy, as well as the rules regarding the use of cookies, in order to be aware of any changes.
I. PERSONAL DATA
In general, it is possible to visit the site or to contact Helpelek without providing any personal information. In any case, the customer is not, in any way, obliged to transmit his information to Helpelek.
However, in certain situations where information is not transmitted, it is possible that the customer will not be able to benefit from the services requested. Indeed, in order for the customer to benefit from the services offered by Helpelek, the latter may, in certain cases, ask you to provide your surname(s), first name(s), address(es) (e-mail and postal address), hereinafter referred to as "personal information". The controller ensures the accuracy and relevance of the personal data collected and processed. In addition to the above, it ensures that it complies with the applicable regulations and with this privacy policy.
2. Collected data
Helpelek collects the following personal data:
Language of use, surname, first name, postal address, e-mail address, landline and/or cell phone number(s), internet browser used, browsing mode used (PC or mobile).
In some situations, the bank account and VAT number may be collected for business customers.
3. Purpose of the processing
Helpelek may process the personal information submitted for the following purposes:
- to provide the information or services requested by the customer (by presence on the operating sites, by e-mail, telephone or post) and tailored to the customer, and more specifically:

processing and following up on price and/or information requests made to Helpelek;

the presentation of the services offered and provided by Helpelek;

statistics on visits to the Helpelek website;
- to collect information allowing Helpelek to improve the site (in particular by means of cookies), as well as the products and services offered;
- to allow the client to access Helpelek's services in the best possible conditions;
- to allow the client to access Helpelek's infrastructure in the best possible conditions;
- to manage the contracts concluded between the customer and Helpelek with regard to its legal and contractual obligations as well as with regard to the respect of the obligations imposed by the administrative, social and fiscal authorities.
4. Recipients
Only Helpelek is the recipient of the personal information provided.
This information, whether in individual or anonymized form, will not be transmitted to a third party, with the exception of subcontractors, external service providers or partners that Helpelek calls upon in the context of its legal or contractual obligations or in the context of the realisation of its corporate purpose, with a view to providing a complete and adequate service to the client.
Neither Helpelek nor any of its subcontractors, external service providers or partners will market the personal data of customers.
5. Duration of storage
Personal information is kept by Helpelek only for the period of time corresponding to the purposes of the collection as mentioned above. In any case, except for any other retention period imposed by a legal or contractual obligation, the retention of data will not exceed 10 years.
6. Rights of the customer
The customer has the following rights, in accordance with the above-mentioned European regulation:

Right of access and communication of data
The customer has the right to access and consult the personal data held by Helpelek. The customer can also find out how Helpelek has obtained the data and to whom it has been communicated.
Given the obligation of security and confidentiality in the processing of personal data that is incumbent on Helpelek, the customer's request for access and consultation of the data will be processed subject to proof of identity, in particular by producing an electronic or paper copy (accompanied by a signature) of his or her identity card during the period of validity thereof. The request is, in any case, free of charge for the customer.
However, Helpelek may object to requests that are manifestly abusive (e.g. due to their number or their repetitive or systematic nature).

Right to rectify data
The European regulation allows the customer to request the rectification, updating or deletion of data concerning him/her which may be inaccurate, erroneous, incomplete or obsolete.

Right of opposition
The customer has the right to object to the processing of data in the following two situations:
- when the exercise of this right is based on legitimate reasons or
- when the exercise of this right aims to prevent the data collected from being used for commercial prospecting purposes.

Right to erasure
The customer has the right to request and obtain the deletion of data concerning him/her held by Helpelek.
Helpelek will comply with the customer's request if:
- the personal data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected;
- the processing of the data was based exclusively on the consent of the customer and the customer withdraws his consent;
- the customer objects, for well-founded reasons, to the processing.
In any case, the request for erasure may be refused by Helpelek if the request is necessary for the exercise or defence of legal rights or for the fulfilment of a legal or contractual obligation on the part of Helpelek.

7. Response time
Helpelek will respond to the customer's request in the same way as the customer exercised his right.
Helpelek undertakes to respond to any request for access, rectification or opposition, deletion or any other additional request for information within a reasonable time and in any case, within a maximum of 1 month from the receipt of your request.
Depending on the complexity of the request, the response time may be extended to 3 months, in accordance with the applicable European regulation.
8. Persons entitled to consult personal data
Only the staff members and managers of Helpelek are authorized to consult personal data, with the exception of personal data, with the exception of the application of point 5 above. These persons have a reasonable need for the data due to the tasks and assignments they are entrusted with or due to the needs of the activity of Helpelek.
9. Authorized service providers and transfer to a country outside the European Union

10. Complaint to the competent authority
Helpelek hopes that any difficulties that may arise in connection with the processing of personal data will be resolved through dialogue. However, if this is not possible, the client has the right to lodge a complaint with the to the Data Protection Authority.

II. POLICY ON COOKIES
When connecting to the Helpelek website for the first time, the customer is informed that information relating to that information relating to navigation may be recorded in files known as "cookies".
