The emergency lighting units (BAES) can save lives !

 

They are mandatory inside all establishments receiving the public and/or workers as well as in certain buildings such as apartment buildings, homes, ...In case of power failure, it is the emergency lighting that ensures that the exits are signaled and the evacuation paths are illuminated. This not only allows the building to be evacuated in time but also with minimal risk. Emergency lighting can be guaranteed by means of emergency luminaires with batteries. Did you know that according to the EN50172 standard, the proper functioning of this lighting must be checked every month and a self-sufficiency test every year. These checks must be recorded in a logbook.
